Join us on March 10th in The First Peoples’ Gathering House for the Indigenous Student Centre and the First Nations, Métis & Inuit Student Association’s Monthly Lunch, proudly hosted by the Office of Indigenous Education.

We invite you to gather for an afternoon of connection, conversation, and community-building over a shared meal. This monthly lunch provides a welcoming space for Indigenous students, faculty, and staff to come together, strengthen relationships, and support one another in their educational journeys.

This month, the Office of Indigenous Education will highlight opportunities within the Faculty of Education sharing valuable insights on programs, community building and supports available to Indigenous students. Whether you’re interested in pursuing a career in education, learning more about Indigenous-led initiatives, or simply looking to engage with peers and mentors in a supportive environment, this event is for you!

In addition, Fraser Health will be joining us to offer a vaccine clinic. You can check-in with nursing staff to make sure you are up to date on your vaccines and booster. The following vaccinations will be available: Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis), Td (tetanus, diphtheria), MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), Varicella (chickenpox), Pneumococcal Polysaccharide, Meningococcal Quadrivalent vaccine, HPV (human papilloma virus), Covid-19 and Flu. Please make sure to bring your Care Card, or know the number.
